Texas Tech Noyce Scholars Program

 

Program Highlights

  1. Two-year K-12 experience for upper level undergraduate students (Noyce Scholars) from mathematics and science

  2. Scholars' stipends of $10,000 per year

  3. Lower level undergraduates (Pre-Noyce Scholars) participate in summer K-12 programs

  4. Pre-Scholars' stipends of $2,000 per summer

  5. Scholars teach for four years in a high needs school district

Teacher preparation in collaboration with the Center for the Integration of Science Education and Research (CISER)

Lubbock Independent School District will supervise the placement and retention of the new teachers
