Hi, my name is Maddie Niichel and I am a Junior in the Human Systems Engineering program at Arizona State University–Polytechnic in Mesa, AZ. I am also pursuing a minor in Engineering Management. Dr. Liddell graduated with his Ph.D. from Texas Tech’s Experimental Psychology program in 1996, and later founded Human Interfaces, Inc., in Austin, which he has led for the last nineteen years. Dr. Liddell’s team at Human Interfaces conducts user experience and human factors research on a wide variety of products and services, including websites, software applications, and hardware. Dr. Liddell will be speaking about the abundant opportunities that exist for a career path in human factors and about experiences and lessons learned during his career path. He also will describe what he personally looks for in job candidates.
