About Tim
Dr. Tim Huerta is currently serving an appointment with the Provincial Health Services Authority in the newly formulated Health Services Delivery Research Program, to study the role of knowledge and inter-organizational networks within the member agencies in PHSA. In addition,
Drawing on a diverse literature, his work suggests a new role for collaboration, enabled through mechanisms for effective knowledge transfer, as the catalyst for planned system change initiated at the transorganizational level.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as a member of the faculty at the University of Southern California, lecturing to undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral students in quantitative methods. Recognized as one of the top 10 lecturers while at USC, his teaching emphasized a hands-on approach to using statistics to answer real world questions. He has lectured for courses in public administration, political science, organizational theory and behavior, and public management.

Doctor Huerta is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), the Academy of Management (AOM), the New England Complexity Science Institute (NECSI), the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), and an associate member of the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU). He is a lifetime member of the California State University Alumni Association, and currently serves as the Vice Regent of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
